IT Technicians maintain computer systems, provide technical support to clients, and teach clients the basic skills needed to operate newly installed programs. Responsibilities often include diagnosing and performing hardware repairs on desktop and laptop computers, and generating and verifying physical security algorithms for software, firmware, and hardware.
IT technicians can obtain certificate and degree programs in information technology, as well as acquire industry-recognized certifications.
